Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

CultivarKeeper is operated by MissionBridge Technology LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). CultivarKeeper is a fig-focused collection and provenance app for serious fig growers, propagators, and sellers.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and delete information when you use the CultivarKeeper iPhone app and our website at cultivarkeeper.com.

2. What CultivarKeeper does

CultivarKeeper helps you track fig cultivars, propagation records, care history, harvests, seasonal milestones, photos, and related notes. The app is iPhone-first today. Features such as a web workspace, cloud photo storage, and paid plans are planned but not all are available yet.

3. Information we collect

Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, we may receive a unique user identifier, your name (if you share it), and your email address (which may be an Apple private relay address).

Profile information. We may store display name, email, account status, preferences, and deletion scheduling information linked to your account.

Collection data you create. Records, cultivar profiles, provenance, care events, harvests, milestones, notes, seller-related fields you enter, and record photo metadata (which photo belongs to which record).

Photo files (important). Today, photo image files are stored on your device. CultivarKeeper does not currently upload photo binaries to cloud storage. Cloud photo storage is planned for a future release; we will update this policy before that launches.

Website contact. If you email us or join a waitlist, we collect the information you provide.

What we do not collect today: We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, ad-tracking SDKs, or third-party crash reporting SDKs. We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve CultivarKeeper, authenticate your account, back up and restore eligible data for signed-in users, process deletion requests, respond to support, and comply with law. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

5. Where data is stored

We use Supabase as a cloud infrastructure provider for account and database services. Your full collection, including photo files, may remain on your iPhone unless you remove it (for example through “Sign out and remove local data”).

6. Backup and retention

In-app backup (current). Signed-in users can back up records, cultivar profiles, timeline data, and photo metadata to their account. Backup does not include photo image files in the current version.

Infrastructure backups. Our database provider maintains scheduled backups separate from the in-app backup feature. Copies may be retained for a limited period (currently about seven days in our provider dashboard). Point-in-time recovery is not enabled. Storage objects such as future cloud photo files are not included in these database backups. After account deletion, residual copies may persist in infrastructure backups until they expire.

7. Sharing of information

We share information with infrastructure providers (such as Supabase, Apple, and website hosting) as needed to operate the service, and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Payments

Not implemented yet. CultivarKeeper does not currently process in-app purchases or subscriptions. If we add paid plans, we will update this policy.

9. Account deletion

You can request account deletion in the app. The process includes confirmation steps, a 14-day recovery window, and sign-out after the request is saved. After the recovery window, we intend to permanently delete eligible cloud account data. See our Account & Data Deletion page. Local device data may remain unless you choose optional local removal during the request.

10. Children’s privacy

CultivarKeeper is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.

11. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the date above.
